Tricomin

Tricomin® is an all-natural hair care system of topically applied products formulated to enhance the growth of hair. Tricomin® products do not require FDA approval since they don't contain drugs such as minoxidil or finasteride.

Tricomin® products contain Triamino Copper Nutritional Complex®, a patented copper-peptide formulation derived from years of research. Tricomin® topical hair products also include nutrients such as panthenol and silk amino acids that help make the hair healthier, thicker and fuller.

Tricomin's manufacturer, Procyte Corporation, has conducted studies utilizing copper peptide technology. Their research has indicated that Triamino Copper Nutritional Complex® stimulates hair follicle cells to produce growth phase substances such as collagen and proteins. Tricomin products deliver the copper peptide complex to the base of the follicle.

Male or female pattern baldness, known as androgenetic alopecia (AGA), is a common form of hair loss in men and women. Male pattern baldness is caused by an overproduction of the androgenic hormone, dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is a potent form of testosterone known to stimulate prostate growth and scalp hair loss. An enzyme produced in the prostate, adrenal glands and scalp, called 5-alpha-reductase, metabolizes the male hormone testosterone into DHT.

Procyte Corporation's research suggests that Triamino Copper Nutritional Complex® may block the damaging effects of 5-alpha-reductase and stop the production of DHT.
