Procede

Procede® is a cosmetic hair solution that helps thicken hair and improve the appearance of thinning hair. Procede® products do not regrow hair. Procede® doesn't require FDA approval since it doesn't contain drugs such as minoxidil or finasteride. Procede® Cosmetic Hair System is formulated for men, although their shampoo, conditioner, gel and hairspray may be used by women.

Procede's® patent-pending formula increases the diameter of thinning hair making it thicker, fuller and stronger. It helps remove toxins from the scalp that are harmful to the maintenance and growth of healthy hair. Thin, fine hair appears thicker by increasing the hair shaft diameter.

The manufacturer has conducted in-house clinical trials and testing administered by an independent qualified laboratory to determine Procede's® safety and effectiveness. In Phase I, a 7 day clinical test was administered. The participants experienced positive results with no side effects. "It appears the segments of the study which address that portion of the hair which received the application responded with a generally positive indication of efficacy," the Lab concludes.

In Phase II, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials tested Procede® for the appearance of thicker hair, hair diameter and gravimetric pull. "The test product demonstrated the ability to improve hair diameters," the Lab concludes.

Procede® Cosmetic Hair System is a two-step treatment that is applied to thinning areas of the scalp. Thicker hair should be seen within 3 or 4 days. In order to maintain the appearance of thicker hair, the treatment needs to be repeated every 90 days. Prior to using Procede®, a patch test of the two topical formulas must be performed on the arm to determine if there will be an allergic reaction.

An effective hair loss treatment would be to use NIOXIN in conjunction with Advecia or Procerin, all-natural hair loss supplements. Since Advecia and Procerin targetDHT and 5-alpha-reductase, when combined with NIOXIN they may help increase the rate of hair growth.
